SHIPPING POLICY

Delivery dates are not guaranteed, regardless of what is software auto-generated at checkout, but we strive to assemble, pack, and mail out your order to the address you provide to us within 3 business days, except during times of extended high volume, holiday season, USPS weather delays. [Orders placed after Dec. 15 are unlikely to arrive by Christmas Eve. Feel free to download our 'A GIFT FOR YOU' shareable card you can give to the recipient to acknowledge the gift and build anticipation while the books are on their way!] Your order should arrive 5-8 business days after fulfillment, depending on the distance of destination zip code,  west coast or off-the beaten-path locations excepted.  You will receive an automated email with your tracking information when we create the mailing label, so you can track your order's progress to its final destination. 

HOLIDAY NOTES: Once the package is in transit, we are no longer in control of it. Occasionally USPS experiences delays, especially around major holidays.  We are not responsible for these delays. Note also that sometimes in peak shipping holiday seasons, the tracking may not update, or even say that the carrier is still waiting on the package!  

THE USPS TRACKING SAYS IT WAS DELIVERED, BUT I DO NOT SEE IT!  WHAT CAN I DO?

In our experience with this rare occurrence, literally 99% of the time the package shows up within a week. You can check with your postmaster with the tracking. Sometimes they mess up, or another family member picked it up. Once a husband threw his wife's gift package to him in the closet; our own daughter picked up a mail package we had ordered and drove around with it in her car for a week, before bringing it into the house. Don't go ballistic on us-that never works- we'll help you fix it.

WHAT HAPPENS TO RETURNED PACKAGES? 

If the address provided to us is invalid or inaccurate, USPS will return the package to us. We make every effort to validate all addresses we mail to, however the customer bears the responsibility of providing a correct shipping address. Packages typically take anywhere from one week to one month or more to be returned to our warehouse.  Check your tracking and reach out with the order number.

In completing your order, you agree that for delivery, you are contracting directly with the services of the United States Postal Service; Matthew Rozell Books acts only as a middleman in collecting and turning over their shipping fees. 

Please ensure that correct abbreviations are used, and your shipping information has been inputted properly as Matthew Rozell Books cannot take responsibility for the incorrect or incomplete information.

Matthew Rozell Books cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages and  you should file a claim directly with the USPS; we cannot do that for you. We agree to work with you, however, in the unlikely event that the books have been damaged or lost after you have filed a claim with the USPS in helping you replace the shipment at a discounted rate. Use tracking number to trace shipment; file a claim with USPS for shipping damaged product(s) at this link. Make sure you save your emailed receipt in the event of a claim filing.

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight of product, the shipping option you choose, and distance from our warehouse.

[In times of high volume/low inventory, paperback titles may ship from a third party such as Amazon. In those instances, we will pay all additional shipping expense incurred, and can send tracking info upon request.]

Shipping Fees:

Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you refuse any shipments from Matthew Rozell Books, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, plus the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from any credit issued.
