Do I have to read them in order?
No. Each volume stands on its own and covers a different theater of the war. Most people start with the one closest to where their own family served.
Paperback or hardcover?
The text is identical. Hardcovers have embossed spines and glossy colour dust jackets, and buyers who intend to pass the set down usually choose them. Paperbacks are the value option.
Can I save by buying a set?
Yes. There is a Volumes 1 to 5 set, a Volumes 6 to 10 set, and an eleven book complete library that costs less than buying the two halves separately.
How long does shipping take?
Usually a few days by USPS Ground Advantage, which carries insurance. No same or next day delivery, and no international shipping. Full details on the FAQ page.
