I CAME ACROSS YOU ON FACEBOOK. ARE YOU LEGIT?

I feel legit. I retired from active classroom teaching a short while back and can now focus on my books. I write them, do customer service, and my wife, also a retired educator, packs them and gets them down to the pickup point our rural local United States Post Office. WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

We are in the historic foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York.

I'M STILL NOT SURE I TRUST YOU. ARE YOUR BUNDLES AVAILABLE ON AMAZON OR ELSEWHERE?

Nope - sorry. We do have a presence on Amazon, but you are paying the full prices for the most part for multiple books. It's up to you, but we do contribute to veterans outreach and Holocaust education on a monthly basis from our sales. We are like any other local, small business that could use your help against the behemoths.

MY ORDER IS A GIFT... DO YOU INCLUDE PRICE INFORMATION ON YOUR PACKING SLIPS?

Don't worry, we never include the price on any of the packages that we ship out!

CAN YOU SIGN MY BOOK(S)?

Yes, of course, just check the dropdown menus on each page for the option of signed versions of paperbacks or hardcovers. Collectors love them. Due to time demands, personalization is generally not possible. [Books are signed in advance and stocked and ship out in several cases within the hour.] 

 DO YOU HAVE LARGE PRINT VERSIONS OF YOUR BOOKS? 

We are rolling them out as we get the time. You can write to us for the link. We also have audiobook bundles here and eBooks, the font of which is easily adjusted.

DO YOU OFFER SAME OR NEXT DAY DELIVERY?

No. We recently closed our physical shop, but you can write to us for local carriers. The best we can do is usually ship out the next day, M-F. Bonus points for reading the shipping info here.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

No, sorry. Due to rising costs and unreliable delivery, we can not ship internationally. Try your local Amazon store.

MY PACKAGE HASN'T ARRIVED YET! WHAT CAN I DO?

Delivery dates are not guaranteed, regardless of what is software auto-generated at checkout, but we generally guarantee that we will mail your order to the address you provide to us within 1-2 business days. If we are on tour, it will be noted in the heading of every page on the site. Default shipping is USPS economy media mail, but you can also get USPS Priority or UPS Ground, which means your order should arrive 2-7 days after we put it in the mail, depending on the distance of destination zip code,  west coast or off-the beaten-path locations excepted.  You will receive an automated email with your tracking information when we create the mailing label, so you can track your order's progress to its final destination.

Once the package is in transit, we are no longer in control of it. Occasionally USPS and UPS experience delays, especially around major holidays.  We are not responsible for these delays. Bonus points for reading the shipping info here.

THE USPS TRACKING SAYS IT WAS DELIVERED, BUT I DO NOT SEE IT!  WHAT CAN I DO?

In our experience with this rare occurrence, literally 99% of the time the package shows up within a week. You can check with your postmaster with the tracking. Sometimes they mess up, or another family member picked it up. Once a husband threw his wife's gift package to him in the closet; our own daughter picked up a mail package we had ordered and drove around with it in her car for a week, before bringing it into the house. Don't go ballistic on us-that never works- we'll help you fix it.

WHAT HAPPENS TO RETURNED PACKAGES? 

If the address provided to us is invalid or inaccurate, USPS will return the package to us. We make every effort to validate all addresses we mail to, however the customer bears the responsibility of providing a correct shipping address. Packages typically take anywhere from one week to one month or more to be returned to our warehouse. Then we will drop you an email. Check your tracking and reach out with the order number.

WHAT IF I WANT TO RETURN AN ITEM?

Within the two-week window to begin this process, please email us a request. We will send you a shipping label and deduct the cost from your return, less the irreversible 3% bank transaction fees and up to 10% restocking/re-handling inventory control charge when we recover and inspect the book(s). You can read more about the terms and returns policy here. Digital products are unrecoverable by us and not returnable, as spelled out there.

WHERE ARE MY DIGITAL DOWNLOADS (E-BOOKS/AUDIOBOOKS?)

If you have any problems with downloads, first check your spam or promotions email folders for BookFunnel. It is sent immediately, the links are good for two weeks. Write to us with the order number if you need the link refreshed. You can also write to help@bookfunnel.com; they are really helpful and responsive.

HOW CAN I GET UPDATES FROM YOU?

 There is a sign up box on the homepage near the bottom. Most of our people want to know about new books, pre-order info, exclusive discounts, etc., but when you sign up for the Matthew Rozell Books newsletter, you can opt out at any time. Also, you will get shipments updates from us and you are enrolled when you place an order, but just untick the box at checkout to remove that newsletter option. Frankly I write maybe ten times a year; no way do I have the time or desire to bombard you. I have other things to do!

WHEN IS THE MOVIE COMING OUT? 

We are in talks with a major distributor for our first four-part miniseries. We are hoping for a release date of spring 2025, in time for the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. You can learn more at my YouTube channel.

CAN YOU VISIT MY COMMUNITY TO GIVE A TALK? 

It may indeed be possible, though my time is at a premium due to demand and limits of availability. After 2025, rates will probably have to go up (see above). Write to me below with your pitch details, audience description, ballpark budget.
